My group, KUATO (Jake Sanders and I), just released a new 7” record. It’s a cover of Bobby Caldwell’s - You Belong to Me. The song features our homie Tim Tucker. A couple months back, we released a 7” with Tim on Star Creature. We can’t stop making music with this guy!
The original is a true sleeper. One of those tracks that gets skipped on the album, yet showcases the beautiful songwriting and musicality that only Caldwell could deliver. We wanted to honor that spirit while reimagining it as a modern boogie burner built for the dance floor.
